The firm
Etienne Lemichel, lawyer at the Paris Bar
A firm dedicated to immigration law: residence permits, refusals and OQTF, asylum.
Behind every case there is a story, a family, a job, sometimes years of life in France. Etienne Lemichel and his team defend them with rigour and with humanity.
Receiving an order to leave France, waiting months for a residence permit, preparing the account for an asylum claim: these are heavy moments. The firm was designed so that you do not go through them alone, with a team that listens to you, explains and defends your rights to the end.

Background
Etienne Lemichel was sworn in as a lawyer on 6 January 2021. His office is at rue de Stockholm, in Paris 8th, a short walk from Saint-Lazare station.

How he works
Everything starts with a first consultation with Etienne Lemichel, to take stock of your situation. He answers your questions and explains, clearly and honestly, all the possible solutions and the procedures to bring.
The fees are set after this first meeting: a fixed fee, written into a fee agreement and payable in up to three instalments.
If social workers or an association support you, Etienne Lemichel makes sure he works hand in hand with them, while respecting professional secrecy.
He works without a secretary: he is the one who answers you. Call Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 7.30 pm, on +33 7 49 90 46 30 and, if he cannot pick up, send him a text or a WhatsApp message. He will call you back.
Values
A rigorous and humane defence
What you can expect from the firm, from the first call to the judge’s decision.
Listening
Every situation is unique. Etienne Lemichel takes the time to listen to you, without judgement, and to understand what matters to you before talking about procedure.
Honesty
He tells you what is possible and what is not. No promises that cannot be kept: an honest analysis, so that you can decide with full knowledge of the facts.
Clear explanations
Immigration law is technical. Every decision, every time limit and every step is explained to you in plain words.
Tenacity
Reminders, appeals, urgent applications, hearings: in dealing with the administration, your case is followed through rigorously to the end.
Responsiveness
Short time limits come first: in immigration law, one day’s delay can close the door to an appeal.
Discretion
Everything you entrust to the firm is covered by professional secrecy. Nothing is passed on to the préfecture without your consent.
